Application Requirements

1. Online Application: Fill out the form on the UNCF website.
2. Letter of Recommendation: Ask someone who is not a family member to write a letter for you.
3. Personal Statement: Write a one-page essay about your career goals.
4. Transcript: Submit your current school transcript.

Make sure to give your recommender enough time to complete and submit their letter through the UNCF system by the deadline. After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation. Awards will be announced 10-12 weeks after the application deadline.
