Hey young entrepreneurs! Do you have a cool invention or an idea that could turn into a business? Well, here’s your chance to make it happen!
CUNY Startups is opening applications for their New Venture Accelerator 2 (NVA 2) program, and you can be a part of it! This free program will help you take your invention from a simple idea to an awesome new business. Let’s check out the details:
What is the NVA 2 Program?
- It’s a FREE 10-week program that teaches you how to launch your own startup.
- You’ll get to attend fun workshops and have one-on-one time with mentors who will guide you through the process.
- By the end, you’ll be ready to show off your business to the world!
Who Can Apply?
- Your invention (or prototype) should be ready to be shown to others.
- At least one person on your team has to be a CUNY student or someone who graduated from CUNY in the past year.
What Will You Learn?
- Launch Your Business: You’ll learn how to make your business idea real!
- Improve Your Skills: They’ll help you get better at presenting your business, which is important when you need to explain your idea to people.
- Build a Network: You’ll meet people who can help you grow your business—like mentors, other entrepreneurs, and experts in different fields.
Important Dates:
- Apply By: October 15, 2024
- Program Starts: January 31, 2025, with the first workshop happening at Baruch College!
