Are you a girl in 6th to 12th grade? Do you love technology or want to learn how to code? Then this is the perfect program for you!
What is Girls Who Code Club? The Girls Who Code Club is a fun and exciting place where girls like you can explore coding and technology. Hosted at the Tech Incubator at Queens College (TIQC), you'll learn to code and solve real-world problems with the help of amazing mentors who are women in tech. They’ll guide you through cool projects and help you every step of the way!
Two Awesome Tracks to Choose From:
- Creative Programming with Python: Learn to code in one of the most popular programming languages and create fun projects!
- Game Design with the Godot Engine & GD Script: Ever wanted to create your own video game? This is your chance!
What Will You Learn?
- Coding skills that are perfect for beginners or those with some experience
- How to build websites, apps, and games
- Work on projects that make a real difference
- Meet new friends and be part of a supportive community of girls who love technology!
Program Dates: The program will run for 5 weeks, starting on October 7, and meets twice a week. Here are the dates:
- October: 7, 9, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30
- November: 4, 6, 13 Time: 4 pm to 5 pm Location: Tech Incubator at Queens College
