These programs are designed to inspire, educate, and prepare students for a future in the medical field. Whether you're passionate about tackling health issues, exploring orthopedics, or combining your love for sports with health sciences, there’s something here for you!

1. Health Hacks: 5 Weeks to Level Up

Do you want to dive into vibrant and engaging discussions on prevalent health issues? Join the Health Hacks program, a five-week series led by current medical students, perfect for students passionate about healthcare. Parents and educators are also welcome to attend these virtual sessions!

  • Dates: Thursdays, January 9, 2025 - February 6, 2025

2. Early Exposure for College & High School Students in Orthopedics (ECHO)

3. Brooklyn Scholar Athlete with Academic Goals (BK-SWAG) High School Program

The BK-SWAG High School Program is a summer initiative connecting underrepresented student-athletes and sports enthusiasts to healthcare careers. This program blends a passion for sports with the health sciences, offering a unique pathway for students interested in combining the two.

    • Virtual: June 25, 2025, and July 26, 2025
    • In-person: July 1, 2025 - July 25, 2025

    • Focused on underrepresented student-athletes
    • Midday and evening virtual sessions plus in-person workshops

  • Eligibility: Preference given to sophomores, juniors, and seniors
    • Requirement: Letter of recommendation from a high school English or Math teacher or guidance counselor
