Located at the heart of Bronx Community College, Loew Hall [LO] 336, CLIP is designed to provide intensive English study. For a focused period, this program encompasses comprehensive classroom instruction, supplemented with books, computer-assisted learning, and one-on-one tutoring. With 25 dedicated hours a week, you'll rapidly improve your language skills without the distraction of other coursework. CLIP isn't just about language; it's about preparation for academic excellence.

Understanding that each student's journey is unique, CLIP ensures a spot for you after completion. You're not just learning English; you're also being oriented into the college environment and advised on future academic paths.

Who Can Join?

CLIP welcomes students already admitted to any CUNY college requiring additional English language preparation. It's a voluntary leap towards greater understanding and fluency in English.

The CLIP Experience

The program spans one year with each semester unfolding over 15 weeks, and a condensed summer cycle for intensive learning. The schedule for Summer 2024 runs from June 25 to August 6, with both day (Monday-Thursday, 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) and evening (Monday-Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) sessions to accommodate your lifestyle.

• $75.00 for NYC residents
• $180.00 for non-residents
• $18.00 for students receiving public assistance
